Does look good! Matt Damon is a little short for a Texan no?
Yeah, Shelby was taller than Damon. Hell, I was taller than Damon when I was a sophomore in high school!
And he was taller than Ken Miles IIRC.

That looks awesome. I am going to watch the real story too https://www.amazon.com/24-Hour-War-AJ-B ... B01MZWZ3N4
Well worth the watch, watched it a little while back with the girlfriend and even she loved it.

Sounds like a great trip. Man, I have to say that red GT2 is stunning.
Yeah the red one is a beauty! Never see it out on the track however.

Re: Widowmaker Project (Building a Faux GT2)

Been a while since updating this it seems. Couple weeks ago the rams on the 997tt started acting up and being crooked, of course our fantastic friend Dave was able to quickly to get me a setup of 3" eRams so I could get the car back squared away. https://i.imgur.com/KAe4MM7.jpg Wrench sourced ...

That is some sweet carbon fiber porn right there. I don't even wanna ask how much $$.
I almost just want to hang it on the wall as art! But alas it will be much better on the car with the doors on the goal to get to 3200lbs or below.

Re: Widowmaker Project (Building a Faux GT2)

After a bit of a wait I finally found a 996 GT3RS hood to go on the Widowmaker build. This with the Manthey doors should go pretty damn well towards saving some more weight off the car. Looks like lots of things to paint this year at some point! https://i.imgur.com/1343tJh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ak...

Re: Brake Cooling - New Product

Pretty slick Dave, I am sure they help slightly as it is a pretty proven principal. Like the outcome of it more than the two single bushings as a spacer for the 350mm rotors.
