Re: Shit, I think my car was totalled today
Looking at this car to replace it. Thoughts? https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-marketplace/1088495-997-2-carrera-s-coupe-pdk.html Not only do the headlights look funny but you'd no longer qualify to post on this forum. Wtf man? Maybe you could add some headlight covers to make it look like a 996 ...

I call dibs on all the cool stuff! Seriously that really bites. Cars can be fixed, humans sometimes not. Just glad that you weren't seriously injured.

We could use a good storm (without lightning). This province is burning up.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
Love these old British cars. Started my path of car insanity with a 1965 MGB and still love all of them. Still on the bucket list is an Austin Healey Bug Eyed Sprite. I must be almost as insane as you deck man but not quite. Our 29th anniversary this Sunday and would be our last if I tried to do a p...

Re: Speedo calibration
Same issue with the cabriolet at 4km off and no issues with this small discrepancy. With the 4S at 9km/h it's a pain in the ass though especially at parks and school zones. Have checked speed with gps, radar guns and confirmed correct odometer reading on a fixed course with mileage markers.

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?
Had an awesome day at Area 27 Motorsport Park in Oliver, BC on Wednesday. Wow what a track! The 4S ran like a champ. Thatnks to Blake and crew with PCA Canada West Region for a great event. Made even better by having a herd of current Porsche GT3 Cup drivers on hand for instructors. https://www.area...

Speedo calibration
Anybody know how to recalibrate a speedo? The 2004 C4S is off by 9km/h (5.5mph) and is driving me crazy. Starts immediately by jumping straight to 10km/h and is consistently wrong at any speed, same amount. The odometer reading is correct and trip meter is also correct for distance. Short drive to d...
