Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

My wife and 4 friends are scheduled to be back from Playa del Carmen via Cancun to Vancouver on Tuesday. With the airline flight cancellations turns out their flight is the last one back with Air Transat. There was no option offered to return earlier. Odd considering the flights were almost empty. E...

Re: 996Outpost monthly giveaways now sponsored by Kansas City Automotive Museum!

Finally got to the package place and picked up the big mystery prize. What a treasure trove!

Thanks KC and 996 Outpost. I'll cherish this incredible gift and the memory of the cavity search my frunkenstein received at the border forever.

Re: Uh oh, cat failure...

Personally I'd look at some 200 cell sport cats. They are not crazy loud but are a little pricey especially if you look at x-pipes. With Black Friday coming up I'd make a purchase then and get some savings. If this was on the C4S I'd consider this route. The cab is just right for my wife to enjoy i...

Uh oh, cat failure...

So my 2004 C2 cabriolet has a self destructing catalytic converter on the driver's side. Rattling like crazy and throwing a check engine light and cat failure code. O2 sensors are fine and it's cat failure for sure. The car just passed 125,000 mi. Exhaust is basically stock other than Gundo hack. Su...

Re: All Season or Winter Tires for 996TT

Have Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3+ on the cabriolet and love them for all winter driving. We head to SoCal from Vancouver just after Christmas every year and they're really excellent for this trip. Okay in light snow, great in rain, suck in slush (what doesn't?) but great on cold dry pavement. For your...
