...I can't say I'm heartbroken that murdering, lying, cheating, thieving OJ died of the cancer. I can't think of someone more deserving of the honor. Hopefully Johnny Cockring and F.U. Bailey will receive similarly just rewards. And let us not forget Robert Kardashian, not only for the OJ thing but...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

On a logical note: I can't believe you don't carry a "starter pack" in the 914. Wait I forgot there isn't enough room for that.😜 There actually is a jump pack on the ground next to the wall. Despite its robust size, it clearly had nowhere near the cranking amps needed to start to mower......

Re: Where did the coolant go?

A couple of thoughts: 1. Take a close look at/around the center radiator (IIRC Tiptronic cars came with them as standard equipment). Unless you've added some, there's effectively zero protection for the center radiator from taking damage from road debris (e.g. gravel) kicked up by other vehicles. I ...

Re: Where did the coolant go?

If the oil and coolant both look good (no intermix either direction), my guess is a slow leak somewhere in the system. Get the car nice and toasty (so that the coolant system pressure comes up due to temperature), park it on a nice flat clean surface and then look for wet spots forming under the car...

Congrats on the new family addition, and for stepping up to adopt him (or maybe vice-versa...it is a cat, after all). He appears to be adjusting quickly to his new environment.

Well, for those of us plebes who don't get to see the extra posts you mods do, we're still on page 996!

Very sorry to hear that. Our furry four-legged family members give us so much and, frankly, ask so little in return.

Re: Why does Apple...

A few thoughts: 1. Whilst the "small amount of money" each user pays to expand storage seems "small", when you multiply that by 10's or 100's of million of Apple users that becomes real money. The video game industry makes huge profits from exactly this "micro-transaction&qu...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Pretty quiet in here. All you geezers on extended nap time? Nah...just returned from 5 days with the 996 in Big Bend (west Texas) country. Many insects got slaughtered, a few roadrunners got scared 5hitl3ss (fun fact, they CAN fly if their life depends on it), and many gallons of gasoline were turn...
