Re: BMW 3 series wagons
Thanks for your input Daryll. I can’t belive you fit all of your daughter’s college stuff back there! Funny, I had never seen a GT until a few days ago when an Internet search pulled up several when I was hunting bmw wagons. I’ll add it to the list! It is a shame there are so few manufacturers selli...

Re: BMW 3 series wagons
Thanks for the input, Gnat. And good point about the back seat- my boys are 2, 6 and 8. I can squeeze ‘em in tight in one row only for so long.
I’ll have to look at the Cayennes, too- I’ve never really liked the way they look, but driving one might change that I suppose.

Re: Axle nut torque

I think my calculations got me close enough to the desired torque. I’ll recheck it after driving around some just to make sure everything’s snug, but I feel p...

Axle nut torque
Hi everyone- I’m just finishing up my latest DIY- replacing a boot on a front CV axle on my 2003 Carrera 4 S-and I’m wondering what I should do to torque the axle nut. 340 lb/ft, right? My torque wrench is laughably undersized, and the local part stores who loan out bigger torque wrenches don’t have...
