Yeah I read he had some serious injuries. The $110+ million F35 didn't fare so well.
Are we talking True Grit rattlesnake pit?

Time to call in Rooster Cogburn?

Re: On Becoming a Macan "Expert"

Continuing on, a buddy of mine decided he wants to buy my Carmine Red 2016 GTS. I've been driving it since I got it in December, and as you might imagine, I've gotten attached to it. But, I'd really like to get a Carmine Red Turbo (which I think might be a unicorn) - dammit, I've just become accusto...

Steam Vent Line Disintegration Problem with cheap & easy DIY fix

In April, I got a call from my neighbor who bought my 2015 Macan S as the car had sprung a massive leak. I got him set up with my mechanic. Apparently, it was a "steam vent line" that goes from both heads to the overflow tank. It's a small plastic line that runs from the top front of the e...

Re: On Becoming a Macan "Expert"

OK, so an update on activities since my last posting. I bought a really nice 2016 Sapphire Blue Metallic Turbo model at the end of February. Just a gorgeous color combo with the platinum wheels, exhaust tips and then the carbon fiber interior trim. IMG_1292.jpg b1250c6a-b5a0-492c-a03c-0bec7f26fe74.j...

They're back!
I ratted them out already...again.
Took 'em out and gave them the Kristi Noem treatment.

Re: FS: Rennline tow hook - unused

That WERKS for me. ;) Ha, I see what you did there. I think I am going to breakfast Saturday rather than autocross because there’s a car show I want to catch Saturday morning. Plus, I have a bunch of stuff to get done at home, so I really can’t justify spending til 3:00 pm at the autocross. So, hop...

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?

I did some much needed cleaning and vacuuming in the garage today...and watched another layer of dust accumulate on the 996. Almost warm enough now to drag all the wash paraphernalia out onto the driveway for the spring cleaning...of the car now that the garage is in passable shape. The older I get...

Re: FS: Rennline tow hook - unused

Like a lot of first time Porsche owners, I went nuts buying things. [A pox on Pelican Parts l) } One thing that's been sitting on the shelf in the box is a pretty nice Rennline tow hook. My track days are long gone, and it will never get installed. So...what am I bid? It's a little small for Bring ...
