Re: 996 on Wheeler Dealers!

I don't watch it at all since Edd left. I cannot stomach that British toad that remains. Yea, I miss Edd China too. It seems like they spent more time repairing the cars with what little resources they had on hand instead of turning to vendors. But this is the first show I've watched with Ant and a...

That guy in the middle looks pissed off in every one of your band pics.
Wow... she has a striking resemblance of Lilith Sternin from Cheers/Frasier...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Cuda's favorite buyer is in the news! The airport guys and the police have the patience of Job. I would have hooked em and booked at the first outburst. Lil Pump wasn't all that tough-seeming. His travel partner just the opposite. I'm sure someone in TSA switched bag tags just to get them in troubl...

I actually work 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Really. But I work from home and when I die I will receive total consciousness. Which is nice.

Re: 996 on Wheeler Dealers!

Wow. That IMS Solution install made me cringe. There's not much more they could have done wrong. Yea, Jake. This is typical of "entertained style" car shows that leave a lot out on purpose. I know your frustration because this could cause a ton of questions to be emailed through your ticket system ...

Re: Bore Scoring! Who knows for whom the bell tolls...

At 25+ you are talking about a FSI motor and that is going to sell for more than the average 996 on BaT. Especially for a C4S coupe as they are a bit more sought after. I wouldn't bet on breaking even though. Only way (I think) it makes sense is if you are keeping it for yourself. Do you know what ...

Re: Bore Scoring! Who knows for whom the bell tolls...

I don't know if it's still around. I need to ask him, but I don't want to bother him too much over my crazy interests. I did get a sense that once an engine like this is finished, it doesn't take long for word to get out and it's sold. That opinion is based on what others have said that work for hi...

Re: Bore Scoring! Who knows for whom the bell tolls...

I need to get this guys contact info. and see if he's willing to part with it now. Got a little fun money, but won't spend much on this car. I mean think about it. What good is it if I pay $6,000 for it and put a $25,000+ engine in it, and it's only worth around $25,000 on a good day on BAT?

Re: Bore Scoring! Who knows for whom the bell tolls...

Thanks man! I think he's up in Maine? I'm sure he's got lots of people interested. Maybe Bill can send him a PM. If I put an engine in it, I would have to either resell it to try to make some money or sell the one I have right now. My wife is NOT going to let me keep both. First post says Baltimore...
