Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?

Drove the old 996 to the PCA breakfast this morning - and got a serious case of 991/GT3 envy. [4 liter / manual shift] IMG_1643-sm.jpg After I did some errands and parked WAY far away from the entrance to the grocery store: IMG_1645-sm.jpg While inside the store I forgot which car I had brought and ...

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?

My 996 already had tint when I got it. I took it to a local shop & they used a meter of some kind & determined that it’s at 35%. (Side & rear only). I think that’s max under Kansas law, but I’m not 100% sure of that. I definitely would not want it any darker 85202C6D-46E0-4C95-B39C-02AB9129412E.jpeg

Re: Focus on Bore Scoring Video Series

The saga continues. I'll watch this later today when I put in my treadmill time. Thanks for the heads up. PS: Checked the oil level this morning per Mr. Raby's instructions. Happy to report that in the last 1,000 miles, ZERO consumption. I had the foresight to take photos of both the dashboard indic...

Re: Seat Covers

Looks fantastic, actually. :) I know when I had my '87 Benz I almost went with GAHH - a lot of the Benz people used them. They have a big selection for most all makes.....even Porsche. ;) https://www.gahh.com/interiors/seats?vehicle_make=244 Price-wise they are probably towards the high end. Before ...

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?

You would think so.....but only a few have been in. He said he started doing the cars & coffee circuit because it seemed to bring in more business after one of those. Hey....Mustangs need love, too. :) I told him he needs to put a flyer on paper and come into Pegah's and annouce he's there. Maybe ha...

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?

Ran a few errands with the clean-for-once 996. Ended up at KC Auto Care & Accessories to visit my bud Rob Howard. Great shop for all things detailing and he also carries a huge array of collectible model cars of all kinds. Shameless plug - I have no financial interest in the shop other than the ridi...

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?

Drove the 996 to a Kansas City PCA 'happy hour'. Not a huge turnout...which I thought unusual because the destination establishment DID have a liquor license. There were just six of us to start, but the good news is that none of us knew the others . This was a GREAT way to meet and get to know some ...
