Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
Inquiring minds want to know! I've heard plenty of "bad taste" over Jake's personality, but I don't think I've ever read a complaint about his shop's actual work. I had $45k in an engine that made 50hp by the time it was all said and done. I had to swear to not post what happened or he re...

Most of the SP996 guys ran them without issue. I think their benefit is lost on the street through.

Re: 987S Rebuild Thread
Porsche’s are my tinker toys. I just really like doing builds with them. Whether it’s taking a stock car to a racer or a track car back to stock. Re: 987S Rebuild Thread
Cool! I don't know if this makes a difference to you but I was told by Jud that there is a mistake on the 101 class, it's actually 8 hours over 2 days. Maybe they made the same mistake on the 201 class. I was told by "Rebecca" that both were only 4 hours. I told her one said 8 and one sai...

Re: 987S Rebuild Thread
I'm in the early planning phases of my first 996 project and I'll be really interested to see how you manage with the new Darton formula. I have no experience with any manufacturer thus far, so all I ever hear about is LN Nickies. I'm signed up for the class this April, so I know that is what I'm g...

Without the fanatics you can't have a proper oil thread. But give them time, they'll eventually find their way over here.trailbrake996 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 8:29 am I say use any oil designed for wet sump track use and you'll probably be good to go. Wait did I just get baited into an oil thread?...damn slakker!
