Re: Racetrack Stuff

Re: Dammit, Jeep...

Good old Chrysler engineering. In college one of the cars I had was an extremely heavily modified Eagle talon TSI AWD. The car epitomized the DSM acronym--driver slash mechanic. Re: Shit, I think my car was totalled today

Lil Pump is in the market for the new whip Mike. Last of your Porsches was worth $100k before he wrecked it at the front. This one, being bigger and slightly wrecked at the rear should be worth around $150k. Him him up about a deal.

Re: Civic Type R

I used to have a Berlina black AP1 S2000. It was a great, reliable car. What you've heard is correct, it's pretty uneventful until vtec kicks in which was ~6000RPM. The biggest drawback is every civic and integra on the road will think you want to race. :| That's fine, in 4 cyl Vtec Hondas the soun...

Re: Civic Type R

Congrats on place in line. Ironically I bought my 996 from a Honda dealer, previous owner traded it in for a civic hybrid.

Re: Why are our engines so expensive?

Because it has a Porsche badge. Seriously. Porsche has mastered the marketing game like no other auto maker. They have the fattest sales margins and sell people on German brand, history, and status. You pay massive premium for that Porsche badge. On parts that are shared with VW and Audi, you pay 2x...
