Re: RennRun 2018?

Just a quick update - LV PCA has agreed to feature us in the upcoming newsletters. I'm going to provide them photos from last year as well as a quick write up to explain the event. I'm going to talk about going on group drives, eateries, potential activities, etc. I'm directing them to the RSVP webs...

* If you meant "used one of my own" as in you took the pic, then double plus good on you Dr!
Haha, yeah I meant I used a photo that I took from last year's event. I always bring my Canon with me :) Thank you, sir!

Re: Who can school me on polishing/paint correction?

The compounds I used are Chemical Guys V36 and V38, both are pastes in squeeze bottles. The P21S wax is really thin (watery). It goes on really thin, which makes removal suck WAY less than paste waxes... Yeah I'm asking because even with masking tape I always seem to leave a cloudy spot on my black...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Whoa ... this is way ritzier than my setup. For years I’ve used the same cheap-ass blue tarp under my drain pan. The tarp catches the overflow; when I’m done I just clean up the tarp with a few shop towels, roll it up and store it ‘til next time. Works pretty well and only cost me about four grand....

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

I got a nice 15 quart low-profile oil drain pan off of Amazon. It has wheels and a screen and everything. To catch the spatter & deflections? A $15 hot water heater pan from Lowes. 8-) (I was pretty proud of coming up with that last one, gotta admit.)
