I didnt see you mention PB blaster or heat! Shouldve presoaked them with penetrating fluid the previous night. Are you using 6pt sockets?

That's worth taking a look into Joe. If anything, perhaps I can replace the spring with something a little substantial to accommodate the extra weight. If all else fails....hood pins? :lol:

I should re-phrase. My decklid will not unlatch on it's own. I have to have my girlfriend press the button while I lift the decklid. I have tried adjusting the stops as far out as they will go without any luck. I was hoping the actuator/latch had some sort of mechanism to push the latch out vs just ...

Has anyone had any issues with their decklid actuator? After I changed my wing my to the Shaw GT2, I've had issues with it. I can get the decklid to open as long as my girlfriend gives me a hand. When I use the electronic lever, I can gear the actuator making noise, but the decklid still won't open ...
