Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

No snow here, but it's pouring really hard in LA. Yesterday we all went home early; power line around the block went down. Does the TRD Pro come with a snorkel? With all the fires we had, we've been also having some devastating mud slides. I still have bfgdoorich rival S's on my 996. Lots ...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Wash it a couple times a year, frame is like new with it being fluid filmed every couple years. A little rust snowing on the roof where my old man put some clearance lights in and did not paint the holes after. Had one axle break from getting stuck with the v-plow on it and thrashing to get it out....

Agree. How did he find this site?
996outpost stickers. Duh?

Also, how are your renters from hell? I decided to not renew my rennlist membership.

Re: Bore Scoring! Who knows for whom the bell tolls...

Just jumping in here to say that Renn Meister is a confirmed expert Actually, Renn Meister believes that "Experts" have stopped learning new things :-) That said, moving forward my goal is to increase awareness of the early onset symptoms, so more people can have local shops provide some interventi...

Re: Bore Scoring! Who knows for whom the bell tolls...

Really sorry to hear about the scoring Billy! I've contemplated my contingency plan for an engine failure, and to be honest I still don't know 100% what I would do. I think I would rebuild the engine myself. It would still be expensive, but it would be a huge opportunity to learn something new. I've...

Yeah, just thought it might peak your interest. I don't think the Carpro Reload was really fairly judged in this test though. I believe it's supposed to be paired with vehicles already coated with CQuartz. I wish he had Optiseal in there, but maybe he can't source it in the UK.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Have a 2010 Tundra for the shop truck, been rock solid even with the supercharger setup on it. 135k miles and chugging along. Yep; I've heard nothing but good things. Helped a friend do some work on his; if I remember correctly, nearly all the oem replacement parts he ordered had made in USA on it....
