Here's what I want to know...Why is the M96 water pump so incredibly fragile? I've driven/owned cars ...

We all know I don't have nearly the karting skills he does. Also, I'm much fatter.
Yeah, but he is MUCH older than you are. By the time the eyes tell the brain to turn and the brain tells the hands the same info he's in the tire wall!

I also drive WITHOUT my compact spare most of the time. Unless I'm meeting Kalashnikov in Vegas. I'm not saying he's bad luck, but I think I'd be safer out hunting with Dick Cheney and Stevie Wonder. I like to live on the edge. No knocking on wood. I step on the cracks. I live with a black cat. I o...

Re: Tires, tires, tires.... ("shoes" to Schnelly)

C4S Bridgestone Potenza SO2-A. Stock sizes on stock wheels. Expensive. First and only set I've had so no comparison from me on other tires. Seems noisy to me, but then again...no comparison. Flat spots are "fun" to work out after sitting one+ week. Reduced the pressures a bit to make the ride better.

Re: Mrs. Schnell's Mashed Jeep

Flat6: Couldn't agree more. QC and adherence to standards are incredibly important in a business dealing directly with the end users. Return customers or lack there of and word of mouth can make or break(brake  ) such a business. I appreciate you and Elschnell efforts to set standards on what ...

Re: Mrs. Schnell's Mashed Jeep

Oh my! While I followed Flat6 wreck repairs, it has been so long I had forgotten it was with the same repair operators. I would avoid those guys as it appears they have "issues"!

Re: X5's, Land Rovers and various assorted SUV's

Appreciate all the replies. She's still leaning to the X5. We'll see. So far I've talked her out of about 15 various "junk" SUV's. It is getting tiring and I'll have to buy her something soon.
