Has the car had a recent service, oil change or otherwise? Until you can prove that it wasn't your oil pr...

Re: What's in your toolbag?

So I watched a bunch of videos on code scanners...5 best scanner, 20 best scanners, 10 best scanners, if you only have one scanner, and then I ran into a video by some guy (I forget his name) and he looked like a cross between a wanted sex offender and someone who worked in Hitler's motor pool, but ...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Went out to Malibu Canyon and the unofficial impromptu Cars and Coffee...but Malibu Canyon was closed half way there and the detour took forever. No sooner did I finally get there then two Sheriff SUVs came through announcing the the gathering was not allowed and to disperse. It felt like many alrea...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

That 993 was special...and technically it was Riviera Blue. The guy who bought it after me still has it, but has it parked in his garage. I'd seriously consider paying a 993 price to get that one back. But because of the car's history (and the rarity of the color) I don't think he'll sell, at least ...

Re: Guards Red didn't save this buyer on the way in his 996

Paid a quick visit to RL to see what everyone was talking about. I must say, and nothing against anyone there, it seemed so filled with darkness and gloom over the 996 engine that I had to leave. Nothing has changed since I was last there years ago. The 996.1s have been on the road for 20 years or s...

Re: 2nd Amendment Gear

I do love the 1911 .45. I have two compact models...a Kimber Ultra Carry II, which is alloy frame with steel slide, holds 7+1, three dot night sights, very nice to shoot and with its 3" barrel is perfect for tucking in my waist band (no holster) on the rare occasion that I feel a desire to carr...
