That car is literally in my home town. Jeff, the restaurant we had lunch in used to be the Cadillac Saab dealership from that same dealership chain. Who just bought the Porsche dealership because the current owner didn't want to build the new building Porsche was demanding.

Miata front hubs are the same. It's a 20 minute job to take the brake caliper off, remove the rotor, and (so long as you have a long enough breaker bar and/or pipe to remove the nut holding it on) swap out the old hub and slide a new one on.

I get a lot of people at track days in their DD looking for something else to track and get a lot of questions about the miata which is obviously a really fun and cheap car but I steer them to the 86 cars as an actual car that is really fun and still relatively cheap.

Something broke. I'd turn the wheel what I normally do and the car would just sort of meander left but when I turned right it was fine. Got the car home and put that corner in the air and I was able to move the wheel around in space with my hands; I'm guessing a ball joint (and hoping, those are eas...

Ending the track season how it started, loaded the car on the trailer while it was snowing. Fun day tomorrow, instructor appreciation day at Summit. Last of 30 days this year. Turned a lot of money into noise but had a good time doing it.
