Re: RL Thread on Fuel Wash and Injectors

Which island are you on Bill? I was born on Oahu, and left for college when I was 18. I usually fly back a few times a year; would be cool to possibly give you a hand if the timing is right! On Kauai. I too was born and raised on Oahu (Kaiser 81) Bit of an age gap...or chasm. Mid Pac 11

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

We (probably me, dammit) should check to make sure we’re not running afoul of the Rennlist terms of service before archiving content they probably claim ownership of. I’ll see if there is a way to get directly to an Internet Time Machine version of that thread. Needed something to do during my poop...

Looks like an awesome project Strangelove!

I'm kind of a tool whore. Would you mind sharing any specialty tools or out of the ordinary stuff you guys end up using for the rebuild?

Re: Help! My car pissed itself! Any idea where the headlight/windshield washer reservoir is located?

I had this issue about month after I purchased my car. I found that the pumps for the sprayer had gone to shit. I rebuilt mine myself instead of purchasing new ones, so it only costed me some time. You have to remove the reservoir to access them as they're attached directly to the tank. The reservoi...

Could you monitor fuel trim levels to see how the 02 sensors are reacting to the new cats? Something I've been curious about, but haven't found any data on.

Will you be smoging these cats, or do you have 'a guy?'

Re: Brake Light Switch Replacement DIY

I think I used a plastic panel trim popper. Pretty safe. Just don't swallow it or stick into any of your own orifices. I had to do this when I still lived in an apartment complex in Irvine. Other tenants we're quiet perplexed by a person working on his own car, much less seeing me looking like I'm c...

Wish my dad taught me how to drive stick. My uncle taught me in his pride and joy, his berlina black s2000 that I would end up buying from him a few years later. I think he had about 2.5 heart attacks and a stroke.

You're a good dad Cuda.

Re: Exhaust mod - clarification of Gundo and Fister

20160204_161944.jpg I could not decide so I did both. it's not as deep sounding as I thought it would be but that could be due to the headers. It is a huge improvement in sound over the un modified stock exhaust. Let's call it the flatsix spaghetti mod! Quite a piece of modernist sculpture there. I...
