Re: Battery Drain
It was one of those Interstate batteries. I got it from my Indy after the engine rebuild, as the existing battery was dead too. I assumed it was a new battery, but who knows. He replaced it free of charge. Next up is an oil change and 2 new fronts (PS4's). Motor on!

Re: Battery Drain
Turns out it was a bad battery. It was only a few months old, so I never expected it to be bad. Sorry it took so long. Ride on!

Hi all, my most recent dilemma involves a recent dead battery after only 2 days of non use. It is a new-ish battery (5mo.old) and has never been a problem until now. I charged it back up an took her to indy, who found no drain. So along I went, thinking it was a fluke. Nope.... did it again after 2 ...

Windshield washers not working
Hey, anybody have any tips? Fluid is full and motor makes the whirring noise, but no water shoots out jets. Before I start taking things apart, hoping to get some guidance. Thanks in advance!!

Took my 996 up to Newcombs Ranch New Years day, along with a group of likeminded nuts. This time we went up the back way to avoid road closures. Awesome way to bring in the new year!

Re: How your 996 has changed your driving / 996 performance driving tips
My 03 Turbo had PASM, and I found it intrusive, even in the "off" mode. For the record you have PSM, not PASM. PASM wasn't introduced until MY 2005. As far as turning it off, the Turbo is AWD so there is no true off as the functions of the AWD are always on. On a true RWD car (don't know ...
