Re: Windshield washers not working
Those fittings suck ass - but it could be worse...they could have been made out of the same plastic as the headlight harness insulation. That's a good one! No replacement harness is available...anywhere. Last time I had the headlights out the insulation would just crumble. Now every time I turn on ...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
REALLY hoping that if I mark everything properly before I start pulling out the glass and regulator, I won't screw up the alignment too bad during reassembly. Makes a huge difference to mark things, most important the bottom regulator bolt positions AND the window glass. Grease pencil for the glass...

Huh. Used to go to Sunset Cliffs to make out and enjoy the sunset. Married at the Old Whale Bunker Point Loma. Used to detail my car on Fiesta Island on Saturday mornings. Brings back some memories.

I'm sorry...I am a moron. Let me first apologize for being an engineer and working on stuff the last 64 years. Okay then. Now someone explain to me how to spray liquid on the windshield with vacuum. I can understand a pump that works on vacuum and then pressurizes lines with liquid that thus sprays ...

It is 80+ degrees and sunny. We have the AC on. Finally pulled car out into the driveway and washed from top to bottom, detailed the wheels and tires. Drove around the block and back into the garage it went. Looks beautiful all spiffed up. Happy New Year to everyone!

Re: 996 Battery recommendation/comments
I got my H6 AGM battery from Autozone. Works perfect. I read somewhere that the Lithium batteries with the auto shutoff to preserve power for a restart can be an awful pain in the neck because the button is on the battery, and the battery is in the frunk, which requires power to open. Get it?

Re: Tire wear
I agree, you need to get your alignment checked and adjusted. I would suggest that the Porsche dealer would be the best place because they will know exactly how to do it (the eccentric bolts on the rear suspension for example).
