Re: Why are our engines so expensive?
Meh, I think you're over generalizing the price difference between a $25,000 high tech 3.6 liter Porsche engine with Variable valve lift, Timing, Variable geometry intake manifold, Variable geometry turbine technology on the turbo cars, and Fuel cooling built right into the a/c system and fuel rails...

Re: Code 306
I second this....If you continue to drive with a misfire it can permanently damage the expensive catalyst on you 911 and trust me when I tell you it doesn't have to be driven far before the damage is done........ ask me how I know.... -_- I guess this is my question: Due to the fact that the CEL li...

Re: Code 306
I doubt there was anything damaged from a high/low fuel trim. Your have a problem with fuel delivery, vacuum leak, or spark. Sounds like you already know what your problem is. The reason it ran rough after warming up is because during the warm up process, your ecm does not respond to 02 sensor data...

Re: Windows dropping
Mine does this occasionally but it's only the drivers window. I also notice my interior lights come on when it does this. If I snap the inner door handle a few times it'll stop. I replaced the outer door handle micro switches on both just for the hell of it and because they're cheap. I'm thinking mi...

Re: Sport Cat Installation w/ Fister Mufflers on '99 C4
Bing! The MIL popped on a day or two ago. I have not read the codes yet, but I suspect I know what's coming. Time to start dicking with anti-foulers... Will anti-foulers actually work though? I know on some cheaper cars they do, but I have always been skeptical if they actually work on the Motronic...

Re: How to Handle a Porsche 911
I never had the liberty of seeing a video about how to corner a 911.......... I figured it out by accident while on a race track in a race car I was able to hot lap. I went into a corner a bit hot and missed my braking zone by about 40-50 feet.....stood on the brakes hard before turn in and as soon ...

Re: can catalytic converter issue cause an air injection code
Thanks man, I work for the State Police Emergency Response Communications Team. We don't fight the fires, but we provide the radio comms and video down link needed to coordinate efforts between agencies when there is no infrastructure, so we kind of get called out for everything under the sun if th...
