Battery Guy, try Krytox by DuPont. We use it for noisy door seals on some of the cars I work on. It’s expensive, but works well!!!

I have a full shock and spring kit sitting in the basement for my daily for 2 years. Every time i go down there i think to myself, I gotta get around to doing that!

Ultimately, its the ECM. Its looking at knock sensors, front and rear O2 sensors
Its figuring if the mixture was right, or wrong. If its wrong, it will lean it out or richen it up. If neither works, you get that marvelous little light on the dash that we all hate.
