Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?

Drive it 150 miles to and from my son's basketball game where he again scored half our team's points. Too bad the other team scored 6 times as many as he did.

Oh and changed the oil yesterday. It was oily looking.

F1 track. Look at the other tracks in the region and you'll find better pricing.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

If that doesn't do it, unbend a paper clip and try scraping the crud out of the slots on your wall. To do it faster bend the paper clip into a U shape so you can insert it in both slots at the same time. It's shocking how well that little trick solves problems. I tried that and now all the lights w...

Re: Basement!

It actually works really well if you downsize the basement to a shower only instead of a tub/shower combo and use a pedestal sink. Plan1_Shower.JPG It does leave a weird 7*9 rectangle that I mocked up as a weird ass kitchen in this. I like the idea of the wet bar being in this corner of the basement...

Re: Basement!

Or I just do a 1/2 bath because the house has 3 full baths and literally the one shower has never ever been used and in what world will this basement shower ever be needed, especially since the third bathroom would be converted from the kids playroom to a legit guest room as part of this effort. Gon...

Re: Basement!

That's so obviously the right answer (or shift it against the stairs) and I don't know why the rough ins weren't put in an arrangement that would be cut and dry and why is life so unfair. Obviously they can be moved but I'm envisioning this as a mostly DIY project (I'm learning many many things!) an...

Re: Basement!

Well that wasn't in the sketch you gave us :P My questions are about the bathroom... The rest of it makes SOME sense. And I'm sure there will be changes along the way. We originally considered putting a wet bar along the wall to the bathroom but the placement isn't making sense. I'm waiting for an ...
