Re: Silly Question-- Can you help ?
Ok call me paranoid but I cut a dowel to the proper length to fit each one of the hoods. I was careful that the frunk hood prop fit beneath the latch mechanism so as not to dimple the frunk lid. I took a front trunk hood latch to the spine when I was bent over digging the spare and jack out on the w...

Re: Silly Question-- Can you help ?
Pain to add to the disappointment of a tire being attacked by a pipe...winner-winner. At least you had a valid excuse if you over-imbibed during the Vegas stay! I took a front trunk hood latch to the spine when I was bent over digging the spare and jack out on the way to the Vegas shenanigans a few ...

It is a good thing that you can still remember that occurrence and not all "John Goodman" after Rosanne hits him with a skillet. I bought my car in Cali and drove it home to NJ. The morning we left Flagstaff (beautiful) I put the hood up in our hotel parking lot to check the oil and the li...

Re: Drones, quadcopters, and FPV flight
Our front "bumpers" were actually an approx. 3/16" thick piece of plastic that stuck out past the body. It was effective at protecting the car when bouncing off of the track boards, but it became an efficient knife when contacting flesh at speed! Ah those were the good old days. Now t...

Re: Drones, quadcopters, and FPV flight
Well...that tells me a lot about how you think...frightening! :D Now let's talk about on road 1/8th scale nitro cars. Back in the day we were hitting over 65 mph actual down the straights and then turning at the end so the scale speeds were quite high. They are fun too. If you ran over somebody it u...

Re: Drones, quadcopters, and FPV flight
Damn man! You do know that the thing on your controller that looks like a miniature steering wheel really does control the steering on your truck, right? So apparently the boy's isn't the only one to have a bit of shock trouble. Taking mine apart for some upgrades and found the bolts holding t...
