Re: Oil Level Indicator on the Dash is reading LOW after Oil change

Definitely don't chase a perfect reading on the electronic gauges... Get at least three consistent readings before adjusting?

Re: Early 911 photos

Not really 'early' compared to above, but early compared to 996's! My '82 911 SC, paint to sample color, leather to sample interior, vintage polished Fuch's... DAMN I wish I hadn't sold this one! https://photos.smugmug.com/Pauls-Garage-1/Cars-and-Trucks/1982-911SC/i-5dXDXfB/0/91e62030/X4/IMG_3421-X4...

Re: List of Common Breakdowns

I'll fill in more details later, but since my long post was just nuked by a bad keystroke, let me just start with a list: Spoiler Hydraulics : (covered above). Coolant Hose Pipe 'glue' Failure: (Adhesive fails, connector pipes pop out of the block, fixes include glue / pin / weld. Anecdotally much m...

Re: Motorcycle PORN!

I have a few BMW's 1966 R60/2 1982 R100RS 1995 R100RT Love the old BMW airheads... My first big dualsport was a BMW R100GS Paris-Dakar. Re: My Other Passions

I definitely have a soft spot for old FJ's, first gen bronco's, etc. and had many in the past, though I think if I drove one today, I would be shocked at the (lack of) drivability and performance.

Re: Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) help

Denver Metro:

I don't trust no stinkin' shops... (actually, there are a few good ones but they are always booked up)

But i'm happy to help doing an 'Output-Check' myself on any local Porsche's if needed.
