Looks awesome. Nice work there b3freak!

Really glad that they did the pre-qualification video. You would be amazed how many shops sell the IMS package that had NO CLUE about the pre-qual procedures.

ipman Very nice looking car. Epic journey, glad to see what you ended up with. Things listed in the PPI are really minor, so looks like you eded with a gem.

Is it a TIP or Manual? Any pics of the interior?

Congrats on the purchase!!! Most importantly, ENJOY!

Re: Buyers input needed

Update- I purchased one last night and driving back today. I’ll post more later, but it ended up being Car B. I called a week later and got a different salesman that was incredible, amazing how much a difference the right person can make. The first guy must have thought it was too much work to work...

Re: Widowmaker Project (Building a Faux GT2)

Great stories, really nice helping your buddy out. How you all came together to help him, is text book example of a "good community".

After reading everything you've done in the last couple of months, I have come to realize that i too am a text book example of a "lazy a$$".

Re: Buyers input needed

Glad to hear.

Take your time. Agree that a decent shop for a PPI is @ $200 based on what I was paying for them. 1 was a flat hourly fee of $125/ per hr, 2 hr minimum, but yielded the most detailed inspection I had ever received.

Do keep us up to date. Best of luck.

Re: Bore Scoring! Who knows for whom the bell tolls...

I haven't been on the Flat6 site for awhile, the new site looks stellar. Can't wait to see the videos. Having an enthusiast & a vendor that share the same passion for something, working together on a project like this is awesome. So is the tank the company car or the family car for outings? For ...

Re: Buyers input needed

As for the reports (carfax, autocheck, etc.), I've learned a lot recently about them. Might want to research this topic as well. i.e. If you buy a car new and finance it, pay it off then decide to put it on your spouses name (let's say you moved out of state), that's 3 owners according to these rep...
