Re: Drones, quadcopters, and FPV flight

Well...that tells me a lot about how you think...frightening! :D Now let's talk about on road 1/8th scale nitro cars. Back in the day we were hitting over 65 mph actual down the straights and then turning at the end so the scale speeds were quite high. They are fun too. If you ran over somebody it u...

Re: Drones, quadcopters, and FPV flight

Damn man! You do know that the thing on your controller that looks like a miniature steering wheel really does control the steering on your truck, right? So apparently the boy's isn't the only one to have a bit of shock trouble. Taking mine apart for some upgrades and found the bolts holding t...

Re: Drain plug washer question

Popped popcorn is super dry unless you are like the wife who floats it in what theaters euphemistically call "Butter". However, gnat is right what does a boy living in wheat country know about rice (heh). Any type of rice (heh).

Re: Silly Question-- Can you help ?

I am happy mine has two because if you've ever been clocked on the back of the noggin by an engine lid you don't forget. Cold weather seems to bring out the weakness in struts so two is better than one in my book. I've got one on my 2000 Carrera C2. I asked this question somewhere too, because it lo...

Re: Drain plug washer question

That was the honest question: If I left the washer off wouldn't it leak oil and no I drained out the normal amount of oil yesterday?? My fear is it is stuck to the pan and just not readily discernible. More info it is an LNE magnetic plug torqued to 19 ft.lbs. as instructed so I'm doubtful that I &q...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Sometimes there is a fine line between nice and gaudy. You chose wisely. It does look nice Frunk. The stitching on the seats really comes out nice in those shots too. You may not know funny, but ya did good here! Thanks. And I've got Doc Strangelove to thank for the final seat design that omitted th...

The X1-9 looks perfectly at home in that environment and it adds a nice splash of color. Hard to remember that it was once flat black! February 2021 was supposed to be the local Porsche club display on our monthly car club display. Due to the pandemic, the Porsche club decided to push back to a mont...

Drain plug washer question

Ok since we had 14.5" of snow I figured the season was over and decided to change the oil in the P-car. Here's the question: When I pulled the drain plug there was no crush washer to be found! Is it possible that when I changed the oil mid-summer that I neglected to put a washer on before I rei...
