Re: The dreaded oil filler tube

BaT would be a good spot for your targa. Several 996Ts have done well on there.

Goob luck!

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

The local club here is doing a 'rally' to start the year. Just a little excited about this route.

Re: My 2002 996 "renovation" thread

yuk yuk :) The sno-seal has an uncanny ability to soften up worn bolsters, and it lasts too. I'll treat mine again next month when it's hot. The dye is a helpful tip though, thanks for sharing. Is your car about done in terms of heavy lifting? It sure seems to be turning into a 'good one'.

Re: My 2002 996 "renovation" thread

Sno Seal (recommended by Cuda) really softened up my driver's bolsters. Apply on a hot summer day to let the leather absorb the moisture. Between that and color treatment they should feel and look great.

Re: Flying Ducktail...

Me no like the flying ducktail - looks good down, but up is wonky. The OEM aero is cool if you get the skirts & front pieces to go along with it. Some of the fixed ducktails are cool too, especially the ones that resemble the 997 sport classic aero. Anyhow, that's my take as a non-aero observer.

Those wheels look great. And nice work on the seat adjuster plate & rear spoiler.
