Can't believe I did this.......
I have been a bit preoccupied lately doing DE's and work. I'm starting to feel I'm really beating my car up. Sooooooooo I stumbled on this. It arrives on Saturday! 1964 Spitfire race car with a history of racing for the past 25 years. This should be fun to bring to the track and possible vintage eve...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
Drove my little clown car to a DE last weekend. The car on the right is a Boxster. The Spitfire garnered quite a bit of attention.

Re: Axle nut torque
Thanks everyone for the replies and suggestions. I went the cheater bar route with a (measured) extension and with my body weight on the end. I think my calculations got me close enough to the desired torque. I’ll recheck it after driving around some just to make sure everything’s snug, but I feel ...

Re: Need tires....
On my car my street tires are the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S for the track I have Toyo R888R. If you don't want to spend the $$$ for street tires try Sumitomo HZR 3's. I have had some luck with a new tire vendor. Try https://simpletire.com/ free shipping on all tires and dependent on where you are no t...

Re: Max Jax Vs. Mid Rise Scissor Lift Vs. 4 Post
I have a MaxJax and love it. I bought it for the portable-ness. Very seldom do I have the car at its max lifting height. I have dropped a motor, done countless oil changes, brake pad swaps and flushes and the list goes on and on. I do have a couple cracks in my concrete though from the anchors. The...
