I'm at the track Friday - Sunday. Friday is Friday at the Track, SP's in house program. Saturday and Sunday is TrackDaze. I have gnat on Saturday and on Sunday a 16 year old who I worked with at VIR is making the trip in for the day. In between I have to shake down the BoMX5ter and make sure it work...

Well, I'm out of things to check, double check and triple check. Car is back together and runs. Only the track will reveal whether I screwed something up.

God bless the power of the internet. "I bet the white striped wire for the oil pressure sensor is plugged into the starter instead of the solid black one, they have the same plugs and it's a common mistake"

Switched them, and we have a running engine.

Well, a buddy and I spent 10 hours banging away on the car yesterday. Swapped everything on to the new engine, got it in the car, got everything bolted in and hooked up everything (narrator voice: they did not) and refilled all the fluids and turned the key and.... Nothing. Not a click not a whirr, ...

Going 45 instead of 40 is a 12.5% gain in speed. ...

Looks like a blast. I’m total hack so it’s impossible for me to advise. I will say as smooth as you are you probably won’t get much faster. The only corners that may have been problematic were the 3 slowest. Getting out of them quick in a momentum car is hard. In pure conjecture I think you may be ...
