Didn't it spend 2+ years in the body shop? I would use that as an excuse.

I finished replacing the engine in the 06 Cayenne I bought. It's back together and for the moment is running well, just in time for snow! I had planned 8 weeks to finish it, and it took 10 weeks because of parts availability issues. https://www.dropbox.com/s/x2m27wn77avnmft/20221120_135422.jpg?raw=1...

Holy moly. Trees just don't move when they get hit. Even small ones. I'm glad she's OK!

A new fan was $500 and I installed it in 2 hours. The two companies he called to fix it... one said the fan was availa...

WTF ECS Tuning!
I recently got a 955 Cayenne Turbo S with a dead engine. After installing a used engine the wagon is running great! Except I seem to have damaged the plastic power steering pulley (WTF Porsche! Plastic pulley on a $121k vehicle!). ECS tuning offers an aluminum PS pulley for about $50 bux. The OE pla...

I drove my VW with R-comp track tires in the snow. Once. It was like driving a hovercraft. At least what I imagine driving a hovercraft would be like.

That is a really nice car. They sure are depreciation machines though. I hope you've gotten a good one and it treats you well.

Re: Weird temp gauge readings this AM
The temp sensor is an NTC resistor so it is very unlikely to misread, certainly not like the oil pressure sender which has a moving arm that wipes a resistance. I would unplug and replug the sensor just in case some corrosion got on the terminals. The AMP Mini-Timer contacts are self cleaning when t...

What's a cassette?
That's very nice. I have wanted one for a few years now. They are still not in my price range. Very nice.
