I wondered about that too, since it has been sitting for a bit...but I assumed the temps would continue to climb if the tstat was stuck closed. I'll keep an eye on it. It's been too long, but our's did that once. I could be misremembering, but I think it was found that the thermostat valve was sticking. I just remember that it did it, I took it to my Indy, it didn't cost a fortune for a change, and it hasn't happened since.

I don't think I knew you had a-fib too.. I was 41 for mine (actually done on my birthday) and yeah heart surgery of any type at any age is too young.
