Only if you get the fake blow off valve as well... And if your car thinks it's a Mezger, maybe it won't lunch it's IMS bearing!

Re: Pay it forward: post up your freebies here...

If B3 passes, I'm interested in the head unit. I need one to put my '01 Turbo back to stock.

I have plenty of other goodies I can throw into the pay-it-forward pool, I'll have a look through my boxes of parts.

Re: Hello Porsche Friends

Good to see you over here and nice 997!

Is it a early '05 with the 996 style IMS bearing? If so then you truly do belong on the 996 board!

Re: Motorcycle PORN!

I couldn't imagine being on a liter bike off-road. I could see getting in over my head pretty quickly with that kind of power. I'm a good, but not epic rider... At least compared to the guys I ride with, some of which are really really good. Ironically the gap closes a bit on the big dual sports. T...

Re: Racetrack Stuff

I'll keep the mirror tap thing in mind for my next open track day or DE... I've never noticed it being used around here but sounds like a good signal. I usually keep a good eye out for approaching faster lap traffic and am ready to let them go as soon as we hit the zone, but I guess that's a good wa...

I was just trying to link to a video where a preview showed inline... but yup, looks like many of the extensions are turned off.

Re: Racetrack Stuff

Full-race mode, not DE, but this vid shows what might have happened to that Boxster racing to the corner from the outside...

The whole video is cool, but skip to about 6 minutes for the interesting part.

Re: Racetrack Stuff

Here's a video I did this past summer once the DE organizers found out I had video running during a session that turned into a "red mist" fest. Keep in mind that this was an advanced group with a mix of SCCA racers prepping for runoffs, PCA instructors, and "advanced DE drivers"...
