Currently, everyone posting has OG (First 100 Members) as their title. I wonder what title Schnell will bestow upon other users. "User" just doesn't seem his style.

Re: DIY 996/997 /986/987 Solid LCA Bushing Install
Hmmm. I have a spare subframe with arms and spindles lying around. I think I can figure out what dimensions I'd need for the solid bushings from that.
What do you mean by cupping? The toe changing?

I just realized you posted a sketch of the tool. Don't know why I didn't see that before.
I have CNC equipment at work and could make a few bushings though. On the fence about which direction I want to go. How are you liking the solid bushings so far?

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
I know this belongs in the suggestion area, but figured I would post it here so it gets more coverage. One of my favorite things about car forums are the build threads. I think its a great way to learn about your vehicle and its aftermarket support. Could we possibly add a "Build Logs" nex...

While You're In There: Coolant Expansion Tank
Noticed my coolant expansion tank has begun leaking. Already have a replacement, and ordering some tools this week. Is there anything anyone would recommend I replace while I'm in there or have any tips for a smooth replacement? Will probably end up changing fluid while I'm at it. Thank you ahead of...

Re: SS oil filter opinions
Given how susceptible some M96's are to bore scoring, oil starvation, etc., I'm reluctant to tinker with something as fundamental as oil filtration. One of the benefits of paper filters is that the entire medium is essentially permeable, rather than having a fixed number of "pores." That ...

Re: SS oil filter opinions
This 'Ad' tries really hard to sound technical, without actually being technical at all, and that's what's concerning. An ASTM spec is listed as well as a flow rate, but nothing regarding fluid viscosity or other important variables are listed. Referencing the scope of the spec (here: https://www.as...
