Re: Drones, quadcopters, and FPV flight

Yes and No.

I don't think it has dedicated VR mode.

But, it has a direct link to phone via WiFi so you can see what camera sees. I have some doodle though that let's you stick your phone in it for impression of VR, so I may try that and see if VR works.

Alpha Rodeo is a great car. C&D had Guilliano Quadrafallaparto for a LT test this year. Over 12-mo period car spent 13 weeks in the shop I think. They said this was one of the most unreliable cars they had.

Re: Drones, quadcopters, and FPV flight

They are labeled on the back as A or B. Once it failed to take off and was kind of rolling to the side, I figured that maybe props must be in certain spots. Manual has a diagram how AB BA staggered layout works. Once I adjusted that it flew again. I will take it to the park to get the GPS reception ...

Re: Drones, quadcopters, and FPV flight

Update, I now have a drone again. I realized that my box came with spare parts, so I replaced four propellers... But then it wouldn't take off.

Turns out the props A and B have to be in certain spots for it to function. Got that sorted out now.

Re: Drones, quadcopters, and FPV flight

Well, if my first ever drone flying experience is to go by... Helicopter's life will be measured in seconds. Today I had a drone, I pulled it out from packaging. Read enough to turn it on. Turned on headless mode, started it up and it started flying away from me... Then it crashed hard into some tre...

Fedex says it should get delivered tomorrow. So will probably try flying it on Saturday or Sunday.

Re: Drones, quadcopters, and FPV flight

I joined the club. Bought me the Contixo F22 drone and WLToys V950 helicopter.

Looking forward to trying out the helicopter the most.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Saw the Tycan pricing today... Hmm. Out of all consumer goods, cars is the only product that stubbornly defied the pricing trend. Computers, TVs, appliances, consumer goods have all gotten cheaper as they got more powerful and more advanced. Bare bones $100 laptop is far more powerful then the top o...

Re: Finally got a decent toolchest...

That's a nice pickup for a price! I bought me the big rolling Kobalt set two years ago during Black Friday sale. Ran me almost $1,000. I thought it was too big, but I quickly filled it up with all of the tools I had.
