I can't speak to that - I haven't ever purchased an "OEM" MAF. However, the Bosch parts I've purchased in the past have sucked far less than this non-Bosch example.

My 997 airbox came with a Bosch MAF sensor. It came off of a running vehicle. Do you want the sensor?

Your efforts, even with all the angst, have saved the rest of us a lot of time and wasted money. At least we now know that Autozone is not a preferred supplier. 8-)

I got my Bosch MAF for ~$130 shipped with a life time warranty from there. You just need to wait for coupons.

Show me a better deal? The same sensor is $280+ on Pelican.

Updated update for my update: Clean (old) MAF is happier than a pig in mud; I haven't bothered trying to return the Autozone mess yet, but I will get to that in the next couple of days.

Question...what is MAF cleaner? Something you spray on the wire until all the crap falls off?
