Have you forgotten this 200amp-wiring-burned-up-motor-fiasco that Kalash shared?

Here is the final - or very near final - product. I have one or two more remote wires to run and a couple of USB gadgets to wire up now that I have hardwired ports to spare, including my dash cam.

As I described previously, the shelf sits atop carriage bolts that extend into the former rear seat mount points. The front of the shelf is supported from the transmission hump with a hollow carbon fiber rod; it can be "lifted" (i.e. the front rotated up and back) about a foot for easier access to the wiring and fuses on the underside.

In addition to hiding all of the wiring and providing a rock-solid mounting point for the sub, I can now safely stash a couple of cubic feet's worth of stuff under the shelf behind the front seats.

Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

You need to go higher. PPI needs to poke his headout of the sunroof.

Also, is that a super tiny Porsche crest on your shelf between the seats?

Why yes, I believe you are right. That is the 1999 Porsche option 343 "Tiny emblem to be displayed pointing to direction of spare tire valve stem" and trust me this guy needs a spare tire!

That thing has been in nearly every interior pic I've ever posted.

Don't send away for the Dick Tracy badges just yet, you tools.

I bought a whole bag of those things off eBay a few years ago for like $10. They were shipped from China. I'm pretty sure they are genuine Porsche.

"China"? Where is that community located in Germany? Is it close to Stuttgart or Leipzig?

It’s a Porsche lapel pin. Not sure why it’s microscopic - it was a gift from someone who said “since you like Porsche, here’s my dead great uncle’s lapel pin.”

Thanks! That’s not creepy at all...

Did he die after a homemade shelf collapsed on him?
