BTW I just realized that the wife's iPad was purchased in 2008 so she could have something to do while she lay in bed recovering from knee replacement surgery!

Think it's time for a replacement?

Moore's Law is buried in a shallow grave in Billy's basement.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

True, but just think how happy she is going to be with a new one...when I talk her in to a new one...it's not just me.

So I was a little bummed about no x64, and thus no Win64 hypervisor support for the new ARM-based Mac - and it turns out that shit’s been happening in the ARM world! Both Adobe and MS are cranking out ARM ports of enterprise apps (Photoshop and Teams, respectively) that make me think I might be running ARM windows 10 sooner than later...

Holy crap! A current gen 8 core i9 kicks the shit out of a 4yr old 4 core i7. Duh I know, but holy shit I don't think I've ever noticed a process change this noticeable.

Generating my SLA support and slicing models take awhile on the Linux box. Now I barely get done clicking the button and it's done.

Oh and I'm currently at 20GB out of my 64.

Yeah! Dammit! What's wrong with those people? How can they not have hypervisor support? That's just B.S.!

Ugh. I guess back to the days of bloated and slow virtual machines again. I have been happy to not use those for a long time...
