Posting a Mitsu gets you banned, buying a Mirage makes you moderator.

In words of Dom Toretto:

Ask any racer, any real racer... It don't matter if it's mirage or a 911....owning a car, is owning a car. And your signature says the contrary 😁😁😁

A new neighbor bought a place next to mine. I went to say hi and checked out his cars. He had a 2010 Eclipse GT with 6 speed, black on black and some Buick (he is old dude).

I liked his mitsubishi and we start talking cars, unfortunately he is not a car guy...but says Mitsubishi has a check engine light and dealership tells him it is computer being "confused". I say, let me go grab my OBD-II scanner, I will help you out. I grab the scanner, come back...he pops the hood for me  .

I ask for the keys and try to find the OBD II plug on the car, it is towards the center of the car, almost above the gas pedal; weird. As my scanner tries to connect, I look around the car; it is mint, but man it does feel cheap; my 15 year old Acura with 230k miles feels much more premium and expensive. My scanner failed to connect to his car after circling through all protocols too, and OBD II plug was so flimsy that as I was pushing the scanner plug on, it bent 90 degrees.

I may need a few Outpost-PPIs on ..... Mitsubishis. if I get a decent comfort level on the car with a seller, I may ask one of you to go and inspect the car for me. Same service in AZ area +100 miles is reciprocated. So far, got two eclipses, one with 35k miles, one with 42k miles.

If any of 'em are in Orange County - San Diego, I'm happy to take a look.

Hell, let me know and I'll tag along - I need a reason to get out to San Diego. It's been over a year since the last trip.

Oh, that's too bad, Kalash, because I would have totally driven the 4 hours over to St. Louis to go look at that Mitsu for you.
