Taking one look at you I should have figured you rode a Harley. I grew up just outside of Milwaukee and I have Harley-sense. Do not ride, personally, though.

Sweeet! And it still looks like new, Cuda! Is that a period correct Vetter fairing on that? And were you on your way to the Jolly Roger in the harbor for happy hour? . The $3.50 Mai Tai specials are the shiznit!

Indeed, that is a Vetter fairing, great eyes! Bought it in '86 too. Have all receipts for the bike since it was new. It only has 13,500 miles on it.

Wow! That's really neat that you've kept it all of these years, and even more impressive that you have all of the original paperwork. Very cool!

My first street bike, bought new when I was 16, was a 1980 Suzuki GS450L. The rice burner, street cruiser look was brand new that year (I think Honda invented it a year earlier, though). That is the only new vehicle I have ever bought in my entire life, and likely will be the only one. Here's a pic of it with my first car, a 1969 Ford LTD w/ a 390 (paint color was some kind of greenish blue, with a patina of extreme sun fade and rust). Note the bitchin' black satin jacket that my 16-yr-old self was so proud of that I laid it out on the roof of the car for this pic.
