Got me the logitech G29 wheel with shifter and GT Sport. Legit fun to drive with feedback.

Something like this is on my list, I have to remember to get one. The racing games are so good now, guys are training for real races using simulators they build at home. I've got one of the Forza's, and I think I'd be at least competent at it if I had a wheel instead of the controller.

No, I bought the wheel set up for PC initially to play Dirt 4 and Dirt Rally. Dirt games were actually very difficult and tiring to play with FFB. After half an hour you would start getting tired as you are constantly fighting the wheel. Dirt 4 would even stall the car when you didn't give it enough gas from the standstill.

GT Sport is easier to drive in, and I am really impressed by how they managed to translate the feel of what the car is doing through the wheel. You can sense when the car starts breaking loose or you lock up the front tires.

I did the simulator experience at the Porsche center in Atlanta and felt the force feedback wheel and pedals. I was totally hooked. I'm going to be looking into building one of these as well - only I'm going to get sucked into doing a flight rig as well.

This was actually very cheap money wise. The wheel, pedals, and manual 6-speed shifter add on were $250. Special table to set it all up was another $70. Getting a proper table is a must IMO. The table had predrilled holes for the wheel, pedal stand, and shifter and came with bolts to mount everything up. Table height is also adjustable, so I can get the supercar sitting position on the couch and feel comfortable with it. As a bonus, table folds down and easily stores in a closet when not in use.

May buy me this car, I think it didn't have the IMS issues.

That setup looks very cool! Much better than the old wheel-pedals-games I've got! Course I could probably sell all that to the local vintage toy store!
