^ I love those ad parodies that guy does. I don't have any hate for Chevy, but their "real consumer reaction" ad campaign has been goofy from day one.

I keep forgetting about those. He drags them on too long most of the time, but they are hilarious none the less.

I don't have any Mini data, but here's the SUV-related car-buying and car-driving data I have accumulated over the past decade.

2010 X5 Diesel - Unreliable POS. I dumped mine after just a couple of years.*
2012 Nissan Murano 4x4 - Makes the X5 look like a fucking Volvo. Dumped it.
2017 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 - least shitty of the three thus far.

Meanwhile, I've been plowing miles onto my 996 for about six years and my 986 for 4 years before, and neither have ever given me the trouble that I got from the Bimmer and the Nissan. The X5 was on me - expecting the first domestic E70 Diesel X5 to NOT suck was lunacy. However, the extent to which the Nissan was a steaming turd surprised the hell out of me. I bought it primarily because (a) of my mostly unfounded but still undying belief in Japanese quality, and (b) because they only really make one motor any more, so it ought to be good. Right?

I don't know how much actual BMW DNA there is inside a Mini - but if it's an appreciable amount, I'll be avoiding Minis.

Speaking of genetic material, just how big is the hatch area in a Clubman? You might want to bring a black light and some Luminol along for that test drive...

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Well he already has the second and I think it's a pretty sure bet that he will not be buying the 3rd.

True billy, but on technicality I'm claiming he'll step up to a Turbo.
