Over 3,000 pieces, and a few beers. Legit display piece.

Nice job Kalash. My daughter and I did the Star War Millennium Falcon. Great times!

Meh. It's not like the old days where you had one bag and had to dig though all of that to find the one 1x1 bit you were missing. Now for the big sets they break it up into smaller bags and number them. Then they break up the instructions by bag so you are only working with a small subset of parts at any time. Also makes it much easier to do one sections worth and then come back to it later.

Off the top of my head we have:
The first "biggest set ever" Falcon.
Special edition X-Wing
Special edition Tie Interceptor
Hoth
Sand Crawler
Star Destroyer
Super Star Destroyer
Special edition Slave I
Lego Batman Joker's Mansion
Ferris Wheel
Ninjago City Docks
Ninjago City
Tower Bridge
2 Voltrons
Technic 991 GT3RS

That is just the big sets and I'm sure I'm not remembering them all. There are also more "little" sets than I care to think about.

For a Megablocks set that looks really good with a lot of work to build it. The few sets of their we have they simply mold many parts rather than having you build it up. Not a negative, just a different experience from Lego.

I only got it because it popped up on massive sale on slick deals. And unfortunately this set has no numbered bags, it is 40+ mixed bags where a lot of digging was required for some oddball pieces. Out of the entire set I was missing just one plate, which I think is pretty good.

The kids gave me a Kart set back when I was racing Karts. It was fairly small but detailed and fairly accurate. I lost a lot of hair and my religion more than once assembling that thing only to have it fall off of shelves and any display area thanks to cats! Ended up looking like the after of some of my "real" flips.

I heartily endorse these Lego predilections.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Yeah I didn't say they were all built...

Double check everything on that build. She got most of the chassis built and found an issue with the gearbox. She needs to tear it all down to fix it, so it's sat uncompleted for a long time now...
