Twin Turbo C8...Holy Crap!

Post by 32wildbilly » Mon Mar 23, 2020 7:42 am

Texas tuner shop Hennessey Performance recently picked up its new Z51-equipped 2020 Corvette, and after doing a high-speed test run to 182 mph, went to work slapping a twin-turbo kit to the mid-mounted V-8. The company plans on offering a 1200-horsepower upgrade for the car, according to its website. Here's what that LT2 sounds like with two snails attached:

I'm not usually a fan of cars that broadcast how small your penis is, but that sound made me feel funny inside...

Well, the color looks like Guards Orange - close, but no cigar.

The big problem is that it's an automatic.

I was just listening to a podcast with Hennessey being interviewed and he was saying they're more of a coach builder anymore because the cars leave the factory with so much usable power. Looks like he was being a liiiiiittle coy about that.

Cool vid, thanks for sharing.
