Be forewarned - "fine, do whatever you want" apparently does NOT qualify as spousal consent. I found this out the day I came home with the 996.

Same thing for me. Mind you, I just bought her a Tahoe and my daughter a Volvo XC60 and so I guess I had enough brownie points to pull it off. I'm like... I ready for another Porsche. She's like, "I don't care what you do"... I didn't know how to take that comment at the time, but I came home with the car and she and the girls were very pleased with it other than... "You didn't get an automatic!??". :o That's the only part she'll never understand. :? Manual trans is part of the fun. :D
2002 Porsche 996 Carrera - bare bones basic, but still a blast to drive! Heck, I don't even have PSM on it. Ha!
