Same thing for me. Mind you, I just bought her a Tahoe and my daughter a Volvo XC60 and so I guess I had enough brownie points to pull it off. I'm like... I ready for another Porsche. She's like, "I don't care what you do"... I didn't know how to take that comment at the time, but I came home with the car and she and the girls were very pleased with it other than... "You didn't get an automatic!??". That's the only part she'll never understand. Manual trans is part of the fun.
