FRUNKenstein wrote: Thu Jul 23, 2020 3:38 pm A couple of beauty pics from today. I got the rocker panel covers on (I have a set of fancy Porsche embossed ones on order). Took off the stupid fake carbon fiber windshield tint and the paper mini-blind thingies from the A-pillars. I still haven't detailed it, but at least took a couple of pics at the office today. I am going to transition from this thread to the maintenance thread on the car, so probably won't post much more in here about it.

Anyways, here you go:
I like it. Has it some some suspension work? It looks lowered.

Good to know.

Yep, it has been lowered and sits on Konis.

Frunkenstein drove the 914 to the PCA breakfast today and garnered as much attention as the 904 replica that showed up. My favorite feature is the MADD MAXX heavy duty autocross / human body deflector shield on the front.

Very cool! Hopefully Frunky will follow Cuda's suggestion about replacing the front and rear bumpers. You remember when the gubberment mandated those types of hideous bumpers. Ruined the looks on some high end sports cars, as well.

What I don't get about this purchase is it's not RED!!!

Drive it in good health.

No, I think's it appropriately sized. But, I just assumed that was the servant's quarters for your main house. I mean, with all of the 996 insurance settlement money . . .

Ha, no, not servant's quarters at all. It's one of my weekend houses. I can get by in these limited quarters for quick getaway jaunts. But yeah, I agree, full-time?? Not likely.

The real question is, of course...what do you wear while driving your 914? Bespoke pantaloons coordinated with your Venezuelan Rolex?

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.
