X1/9! Seriously? You are covering up the flat black!!?? You just want to be able to polish it don't you?

Guilty as charged! It is really annoying not to be able to really even wipe down the car. It leaves marks and streaks on the matte black if you do. You just spray it off, then live with whatever is left when it dries. About half the commenters thought it was in primer and asked what color I was going to paint it. Plus, that lime green/viper green looks great on sports cars.

I would be all over this car if it weren’t for one thing. Who can tell me what’s wrong with it?

It’s a damn shame because I’d give my right nut for a ‘74 Ravenna Green 2.0 in nearly perfect condition from SoCal like this one.

It’s number 3, but EXACTLY what’s the issue?

Believe it or not, that car would easily bring $25,000 if it weren’t for the issue.

I don't know the term for what those parts are that have been removed, but it should look like this:

Ha, close enough. They shaved the turn signal fins off the front fenders. Really difficult to reverse because the front fenders are welded on.

gnat gets the chicken dinner!

Seriously the car doesn't look all that bad with that modification. Kinda like a slope nose 914.

It does make you wonder why, though. Did someone hairlip the front in at some time in the past?
