Yeah I love them and wanted to get them with the car when I ordered it, but they were on the nice vs must list. Glad I was able to make it happen even if it wasn't the boondoggle my 2014 upgrades were.

I need to see if there are better color matched center caps though. These that came with it are too dark.

When I brought it home Friday the tank was empty so I couldn't really reacquaint myself with my baby.

Finally had an excuse to drive it today though. Damn how I've missed it

The 996 is undoubtedly faster, but big that big oil burning lump of metal under the hood just makes sudden acceleration so effortless.

Damn I love this car :D

That'll do P!g. That'll do.

It could use a good interior detailing, but otherwise yeah. Even the driving feels new since it's been so long. I've forgotten how big it is after driving the 996 and e90 for so long.

So my Indy is going to store my old wheels for me so I can have a winter and summer set. Turns out they make PS2s that will fit the new rims...

Indy ended up being able to scrounge a set of the Pilot 4 SUV tires (summer performance specifically for SUVs) so I went with them over the PS2s (though will still end up with a set next week for the 996...).

Holy crap what a different 2 fewer inches on the sidewalls, an inch or two extra width, and sticky summer tires make

Of course this will be the summer of no hope for taking it to another AutoX or seeing if one of DT's groups will let me run it around Summit Point :(

Managed 14.8mpg over a side trip and back home again after picking it up last night
