Well, once they have your car disassembled, they have you by the short hairs.

That being said, it's not real efficient for a shop to have a bunch of cars sitting around the lot taking up space and not generating revenue. Curious that it is taking so long.

I went and saw it last week and they were starting the wet buff, then assembly should have started. He says by this coming Friday, but we'll see.

Similarly this coming Friday is when B&H says that the wife's Hasselblad should finally be available. Not exactly holding my breath there either though...

Frunk is right. How does this guy make money when he takes so long?
He has a deal with the local Jag dealer and those cars A) get priority and B) are usually just small stuff from transport or lot shuffling.

There are also a few customers like myself that he will only let his top guy do the work so that is part of the back log too.

He has a LR Defender in there that they cranked up for the first time in 2 years while I was there. It had it's frame replaced. Last time the P!g was there I met a woman picking up her LR Defender that he had for 3 years for a full restoration.
