Wasn’t sure which forum to post this in since there isn’t an Off Topic area.

Is anyone from 996Outpost going to Porsche Parade this summer? I’m not sure it would be something that I would normally attend, but we are already going to be Lake of the Ozarks during that time so I registered. We do a family vacation there every few years with my parents and brothers. My mom grew up there and I spent a week or more there each summer with my grandparents.

My dad will have his 1975 911. I’ll bring my 996 and maybe my wife’s 924S.

If anyone else is there, I’d love to meetup.

I will be heading over there at some point since it is in our backyard. My mom lives about an hour away from the resort, so I'll probably just crash at her place. I suspect I'll be down there a total of 2 days. I haven't looked at the schedule yet. I'll probably go during the week as the weekends in the summer at Lake of the Ozarks are crazy. When are you going?

We check in the house on Friday, July 6th and check out on Thursday, July 12th.

I am planning on going. Might even spend a little time with my buddy, KCattorney.

I was just looking at the schedule of events yesterday so that I can block off a couple of days on my calendar. Having never been to a Parade before, what days look the most interesting to you guys of the Monday through Thursday schedule? Blrmkr - I forgot what days you said you are going to be down there. Are there things to do any day of the event, regardless of the schedule? Or do you really want to pay attention to the scheduled events?

Well, like you I have never been to one. Really, I am just interested in being at the event to see other cars and talk to other Porsche owners. Right now we get in on Sunday and leave on Wednesday.

I don’t think the full schedule has been released yet. There is a beer tasting on Wednesday afternoon, but I’m hoping it’s more drinking than tasting.
