People can try pcarfinder.com, but I wouldn't trust it.

Take our's for example: https://pcarfinder.com/ID/5EE554

1) It was $103k
2) There were no Targas for MY 2001 (it's a C4) (and the sunroof delete option on a Targa would be pretty funny  )
3) While the options it lists would leave me competitive in this thread, the reality is that it doesn't cover half the option list :o

Our's is definitely in the running for "most optioned" car

Remember, when it comes to Porsche, it's NOT about the quantity of options that matters, but rather, the quality of options. ;)

For example, you have the golden Bose option. That's gotta count for at least three of my options... like my rear window wiper (425), Graphite Grey Floor Mat (M6P), and Black top (A1). :D

18" wheels, Bose, a CD changer, and Litronics? Sounds pretty high-end to me <g>.

Somebody out there must have a '99 or '00 with 17s, base (or hi-fi) audio, halogens, and the ever-(un)popular 4-spoke wheel. Actually, that was pretty much the spec for my car before I (*ahem*) started Changing Things.

Sticker from my book because the jagoffs the PO hired to respray the front removed the frunk sticker and now they're BOTH in the book. Frunk sticker is very damaged

This thread reminds me to contact PCNA to see if there's anything that can be done...

Memba Doc, quality over quantity. You have Bose, PSM, and special order metallic paint. That counts like at least 9 of my options. Check mine out... ain’t got Bose, PSM, etc but I got option that says US car like that’s an option? Ha! Or an option that says tire code??? What is that?

Haha, good perspective, b3. I really don't feel inadequate for having 3 measly options. I kind of like the car more for that fact, actually. Gives the old girl character. This is my driver - I own it for the pure pursuit of driving pleasure. It needed 1 seat, a steering wheel, a gear lever, 3 pedals, and AC (Southern Nevada, baby.) Considering the wheels that came with the car are long gone, one could argue I have two measly options! (I've got the TechArt center caps on my Formulas.) Furthermore, since the stereo hasn't been turned on since 2016 - I may qualify for just the PSM

Ah, hell, it's still in the car so I'll count it. ;)

LSD ... yet another reason to buy a ‘99!

When I first saw this thread, I thought of some of the low-optioned 996.1s I came across before I bought my car ... my only notable options were metallic paint, supple leather, 3 spoke steering wheel, and hi-fi (speakers in the doors). It’s a cabriolet, so the sticker was about $82k. And that’s with a $1,400 credit for the hardtop delete.

yes I lucked out finding this car with LSD, obviously it was ordered that way. I was going thru the Carfax and when this car was 2 years old it covered almost 8,000 miles in a period of 2 months out in California. I kinda like that this 911 has always been a driver's car.. the 171k miles it covered before me is accident free as far as Carfax knows too.
